About the Women's Business Center Organization (WBCO)
We're more than a networking group. We're business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs who come together to learn and support one another with education and professional development resources and events. You're invited to join us!
The WBCO hosts monthly educational workshops, on the second Tuesday of the month, September through May. Now in our 9th year, our luncheon workshops feature dynamic speakers who share their skills, experience and knowledge on topics of particular significance to business and professional women. These workshops are open to those who register in advance; free for members and $25 for non-members. Please visit our events page to learn more about this year's workshop schedule.
Our Mission Statement
We achieve our mission of Educating Women on Best Practices in Business by: providing regular learning opportunities for women in business - both professionals and business owners; presenting topics and subject matter that empower women and inspire the entrepreneurial spirit; and supporting and advancing the business and entrepreneurial potential of women in our community.
Our Mentor Program
The goal of this program is to connect female business students at York College with professional women in the greater-York community. Learn more and meet our mentors and mentees.
As a WBCO member, you join a group of women who are dedicated to improving their skills, their careers and their businesses. Membership entitles you to not only attend our monthly luncheon workshops, but to become part of our Online Membership Directory, a great tool for following up with women you meet at our meetings and to promote your company. Join today! Membership is $150/year and includes admission and lunch at all 8 monthly events.
Sponsorship helps the Women's Business Center Organization achieve our mission to educate and mentor women on best practices in business. Luncheon sponsors allow us to invite college students to attend our workshops at no cost. By sponsoring the WBCO for a year, your organization will be recognized on our website and at all workshops and in event materials. Learn more about how you can become a sponsor of the WBCO.
